MD Abul Satar Milon, a 38-year-old Bangladeshi citizen from Belkata district, Bangladesh Arrested In Kalimpong for Illegal Entry

A 38-year-old Bangladeshi citizen, identified as MD Abul Satar Milon from Belkata district of Bangladesh, was arrested on Tuesday after being found roaming suspiciously in the Durpin Forest area of Kalimpong.

Locals, alarmed by his unusual behavior, alerted the police. Upon being questioned,  he responses were suspicious, prompting authorities to detain him. Initial investigations suggest he had entered India illegally and had been living in Kalimpong, though he has not disclosed for how long.

Police have booked him under the Foreigners Act. He has undergone medical examination and was produced before the Kalimpong court.
