Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the people of Sikkim for their unwavering commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable development. Speaking on the state’s achievements, he commended Sikkim’s organic farming model, describing it as an inspiration for the entire nation.
Highlighting the success of Sikkim’s organic initiatives, the Prime Minister noted that the state’s famed Dalle Khursani chilli—recognized for its unique flavor and heat—is now being exported as an organic product. This, he said, is a testament to the global recognition of Sikkim’s high-quality organic produce.
