In a major initiative to boost youth employment and skill development, the Kalimpong I Development Block has announced a Government-sponsored Skill Development Training Program under the North Bengal Development Department. The program offers free training and certification to eligible youths from Kalimpong district, with a focus on preparing them for opportunities in various booming sectors.
The program is open to residents of Kalimpong aged 18 to 35 years, and aims to equip them with practical skills, career support, and government-recognized certifications to enhance their employability.
